Their certifications looked kinda legit to me, so I felt comfortable enough going ahead with the purchase

It took a little longer than I expected, not gonna lie, but they were helpful once I got everything sorted. So yeah, kinda slow but overall a decent experience

It does the job well enough, but every time I have to clean the bottle and all the filter parts, I catch myself thinking, “Do I really want to deal with this again?” It’s not terrible, just more of a hassle than I expected, and it gets annoying quickly.

I picked up a Grayl mostly for hiking, i was a little suspicious about how well it would actually work. I kept expecting stream water to come out tasting swampy or just kind of off, but it’s been surprisingly clean tasting. After using it a few times, I started trusting it a lot more. I’m giving it 4 stars because there was a slight filter/bottle taste in the beginning, which made me side-eye it a bit, but that mostly went away.

Feels really solid so far. Nice and sturdy. No leaks yet, which is exactly what I was hoping for

I was already a little unsure about the shape of this bottle when I ordered it, and after using it, it pretty much confirmed what I expected. It just feels awkward against my lips, and sipping from it isn’t comfortable for me at all. I keep noticing it every time I take a drink, so I don’t really enjoy using it

I was into the idea of getting something from grayl and ready to order, but then the exact product I wanted just wasn’t available. I checked back a few times too, and it was still the same thing, or only random colors and options were showing up.
It’s just kind of annoying when the site has all this nice-looking gear, but then actually buying the one you want, you can’t really do. Maybe later I’ll try again, but for now the whole shopping experience was a bit frustrating.

I used this on a short trip, am I the only one who still felt weird about drinking the water after using it? Even after pressing, it had a strange taste and there were still cloudy little bits floating around. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I didn’t feel safe drinking it at all. Disappointing for something that’s supposed to purify water.

I ordered a replacement cartridge for my grayl and, to my surprise, it showed up really fast. I was a little annoyed at first about having to replace it, but that went away quickly because it popped in with no fuss at all. Now the water tastes good again, so I’m happy. Definitely a painless fix.

I do like this overall because it helps me cut down on buying plastic water bottles, and the filter seems to work well. That said, the replacement cartridges and the packaging still feel kind of wasteful, which is a little disappointing. It’s a decent product and probably worth it for the convenience, but I wouldn’t call it as sustainable as I was hoping.

The package showed up in good shape with no dents or damage, so that part was fine. But there was a lot of extra paper stuffed inside, which felt kind of unnecessary. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it did make me question how much thought they’re putting into the little details.

I ordered one bottle, but a different color showed up instead. It’s not the end of the world, but it was a little frustrating because I was expecting the one I picked. I’d feel better if there was some reassurance that the correct item could be sent or that this won’t happen again...

I ordered from grayl.com and got confused trying to follow the instructions. The steps weren’t super clear, and a couple of the pictures didn’t really look like what I had in front of me, so I kept second-guessing myself.

What made it more frustrating was that the email seemed to say one thing, while the booklet or setup info made it sound a little different. For something meant to be used while traveling, I feel like it should be way more straightforward. I ended up searching online just to make sure I was doing it right.

I picked up couple add-ons for my GRAYL, and they all fit like they were supposed to. No guessing around with size or dealing with weird fit issues, which was nice.

I really wanted to like this, but it’s just awkward to hold. After using it for a little while, my hand started to hurt, so it’s not something I’d reach for again. What made it more frustrating was feeling like my concerns about the grip were kind of brushed off, like I just wasn’t using it right. It came across a bit talked down to, which didn’t help.

The filter definitely does what it’s supposed to do, and I haven’t had any real problems with the results, but when I’m trying to get things done quickly in the morning or I’m already running late it feels like it takes longer than I expected, so it’s not bad at all, just a little slower than I’d like for everyday use.
